This award winning book was originally published in paperback under the title of Creating Avenues for Change in 2006. This book expresses, in an easily digestible way, the development of thinking, feeling and willing which is at the core of Steiner education. This is a book of photography and spare poetic text illustrating how the innermost qualities of each human being can be fully experienced and nourished. These images speak to our eyes and to our hearts, mirroring a world of wonder. They highlight the radiance if life, creativity with time and the magnificence of natural textures that surround us. By opening these ‘visual windows’, we are able to visit eighteen Steiner Waldorf communities in four countries, striving to apply the indications for education given by Rudolf Steiner. The Introduction has also been written in Japanese and German languages.
