Rapid change and the pressures for survival have affected many families. Whilst the integration of motherhood or fatherhood and identity, family and work is our own search – we do not have to go it alone. For others are seeking new 'life-ways'.

Lifeways originated amongst groups of women – and some men – who were seeking a renewing spirit for family life. They strove to create new visions of the tasks of parents, a new 'eye' for the meaning of 'home' as a place which supports families in their 'life-ways'. Lifeways is a resource book for home making.
